Kaiya on social media

We will never know how many recruits this will cost. Every opposing coach that recruits head to head with CKC will have this post in their back pocket. She can never have the reputation of a coach who cares for her players. Wynn’s post is devastating. You can hear her love for the Lady Vols contrasted the heartbreak of not being considered worthy of a cameo.
quite embarrassing to have your whole family present Senior Day and have only a bouquet of flowers and a framed jersey to show for it.

Talking about a must win game but giving Spearman 30 minutes knock it OFF lol.

Yes I'm letting Jersey do the jump ball.

Would KW have given effort and heart on the court to win her last game? Ask herself this question?

I'm a firm believer on playing the ones who give there all and hard for 40 minutes.
agreed and i am hard pressed to see real effort from our players much of the last several games

UNC men win despite starting an academic scholarship senior who only sees the court in non-con blowouts. Remarkable how that can seemingly be done.
And just a few years ago, NC mens starter there Freshmen against Duke and in less than 2 minutes were dow 10-2. hew lost that game by 2 points. The main object of hiring college coaches is to win games. if you don't win games you get fired and the school loses it respect and financial support. She was asked to enter the game very late in the game and said no. Under the circumstance, I can not fault Coach Kim for trying to win the game, however slim the chances were.

“Meaningful minutes” for a below average player against a top 5 team after we’ve lost 5 in a row. This is not high school. Be serious please
Fair point. So tell us, please, why MYA Pauldo got to play for six minutes, scoring precisely zero field goals. Please be serious when replying. She took four shots and missed on each and every attempt.

Look at the three bottom names. Sixteen minutes. 1 rebound. 1 assist.
1 point on 50% ft shooting. That looks like below average players doing next to squat for 16 minutes. If that is coaching to win, then we are in deep yoghurt.

Bottom line, neither one of them handled the situation well.
Kim apparently has had issues with the team this season and the players apparently are not responding to her. Whether it’s her style of play or her demeanor or a combination of both. I’m guessing both. And there was little if any communication between CKC and KW before the game as to what to expect and reasoning. Kim is the head coach and needs to do better!
Yes KW should have shown her support for the team by staying on the team and not airing her grievance publicly just before the SEC Tournament. Yes, I can understand her displeasure with the coaching staff but she didn’t take it out on just CKC but she took it out on the whole team by not showing her support for them. Unless there is a lot more behind the scenes that we don’t know about.

The debate shouldn’t be which one was wrong, they both are to some degree.

If you’re really trying to argue that Wynn is on the same level as Hurst, Prawl, or My. Pauldo then you aren’t wanting a good faith discussion. Yes, you can look at one game where a player missed 4 shots. I’m sure if you told KC before the game that Pauldo wouldn’t make a shot she may have not played. This is an unserious argument

The top box is KW, the lower box MY. P. The results are very similar. One player was in the game for six minutes. Had it been five minutes, with one minute allocated to KW, can you, in all seriousness, state that the expected outcome would have been measurably different?

And, following your feigned indignation about a good faith discussion, why won't you acknowledge that Mya P performed just about the way her ytd stats predicted she would:

~6 minutes, <1 point.

If you wish to engage in cheap, transparent debate tricks, as opposed to sincere exchange of fact-based opinions, please continue to play games while ignoring facts.

By all means, enjoy having the last word.

Tennessee women’s basketball senior Kayia Wynn walks away with one game left after coach pushed her to ‘breaking point’

A shock in Rocky Top as Kayia Wynn quit on her team and coach Kim Caldwell of the Lady Vols.

The fifth-year senior guard decided to walk away from Tennessee women’s basketball Tuesday with just one regular season game remaining and March Madness nearly here.

Wynn had been on the Vols’ roster since 2021.

That is irrelevant. Unless you have a crystal ball, you don't know in advance how well a player is going to play. You have to go off practice and previous gameplay.

Ahh, the New York Post. Best birdcage liner in the Big Apple. So we have a regular season game remaining? Who are we playing? When? Where? Don’t you just love their alternative facts!

The degree difference is, one is a college student and the other is the head coach.

I am not Kim hater and I hope she matures from each experence in her carrer.

Hope Danny White fires CKC for all you fans .......

Maybe the next hire will be a man, that should go over very well in this forum..
