We might could get it done, but looks like Barker has packed it in what a terrible performance by her last night. Cooper was clanging iron last night as well we would need both of them to play one of their best games of the season. They are going to need to pressure the guard Galvan don't let her make plays. We've never had a game plan to do what we needed to do with certain players in the last several games or just couldn't do it so don't have expectations we will do it in this game either.

If the coaches would decide who is going to guard her and stop the subbing maybe someone could do enough to keep her down some. In any event one player usually doesn't beat you if you control the other four. We have been unable to do that even. We can't control any of the players as always seeing five or more in double figures.

I would be over the moon if we beat Vandy! It would be something nice to hang onto after how tough this season has been

So much. It would help tremendously but definitely would not completely undo the load of damage already taken on. Would take a really good tournament run in both tournies to put this nightmare in the background.

Yep, Mia played her best in first half since way before her injury and then didn't do much after halftime. The 1st half Mia & Nia's 3s kept the game close. LSU was scoring at will 1st half but we stayed with them by shooting the 3 well. LSU never really changed much 2nd half they are just a consistent team. We went into our dry spell and Barker was just totally off in about every aspect of the game TO's and all. Its hard to believe 2 games ago she went for 29 she was just off air balls etc.. If we ever got Tay, Barker, Mia, and Civil to play up to their abilities consistently the whole game around 25 minutes we would be a tough out with others chipping in along the way. Would love to see the 5 freshman come back next year and Coop & Latham and add Big O and a portal class with at least one consistent knock down 3 and a big that is mobile.

Agreed. I think that would be enough to let Kim do whatever it is she decides to do. I just hope we don't end up in a situation where she doesn't have the players to do anything.

And, toward that end, a Vandy WIN would go a long ways! GBO!

We all know that every now and then the seemingly impossible happens. Last season's "impossible" for Tennessee was that they had one of their better games of the season on the very same day that Connecticut had one of their worst. Tennessee played a rare four quarters well, and CT players did something they never do: they panicked at the end.

And just like that, a magical victory that nobody seriously thought possible became Tennessee's.

The Lady Vols haven't had that magical, miracle game yet this season. I say:

We're due.

I will say this in public and everyone mark my words and fully committed, 100% sincere vow.

If the LVs win the Vandy game and make a run to at least the Sweet 16 round of the NCAA tournament, I will personally....

watch a video of VolStylexx eating a cat turd. You have my word.
