2025/26 Transfer Portal Thread

wouldn't want to be naive but do yall really think some coaches take recruits to the local strip club on recruiting visits?
See, this what I was talking about earlier. You have to up your troll game. This is just irrelevant and stupid. There has to be a hook and that means it should be pertinent and provocative, This statement is neither.
Try this instead, "I saw a post on X that had a photo of Heuple and several recruits at a strip club. Heuple was shirtless and getting a lap dance and it definitely wasn't the dead period, if you know what I mean. I checked back but the post had been removed."
Other tacks could be, "I know this fella with connections to the Vols", AI created images, and anything said by Dan Wolken or Pat Forde. Hope this helps.

GT must be bringing back the wing t to shell out 2 mill for a RB

People actually believe this stuff? A quarterback perhaps. But no one, not even Texas Tech or LSU, are giving a RB without great speed $2 million. It's the same agent driven dribble you see in the NFL only now being done by amateurs. "Ian Rapport reports the deal is for $75 million per his agent". Only to discover it's an $8 million dollar signing and player will be waived or renegotiated before they ever sniff the other 60+ million.

4* depth Safety - not starter

Yes. That's the credo from most fan bases. Someone probably posted the same thing when Joe Burrow and Jameson Williams ditched the Buckeyes for LSU and Alabama. It's true in some cases. Not in every case. And it destroys depth.

Day +95 with no mention of a defensive tackle.

Need a time travel machine, or we're effed. Unless the florida guy gets eligibility.

👀

Robinson, Hobbs, Gilliam, Campbell, House, Utley, Dye

I think those top three are solid and we can expect one or two of the other four to develop. Those other four are talented.

You think Dye is moving to DT?

Last defense we played more of a 3 DT set with a big SDE who was DT size and a hybrid style WDE.

Body wise it seems he wants two traditional style 240-250 DEs. Dye was about 265 as a freshman. I could easily see him sliding inside

I think Dye will stay at DE. (Just my opinion)

Knowles likes bigger DE’s

I’ve heard that said but based on his previous rosters seems he likes traditional DEs. Meaning his WDE and SDE are roughly the same size. So his SDE are significantly smaller than Bailey last season, but his WDE are larger than some of our LEOs we’ve played
