Too much ice

That's good on paper but it's no magic bullet, matching supply to demand and all that. When is Congress going to do anything about it? The last reform was when, under Clinton? In the mean time businesses suffer for lack of staff, even in Tennessee.
So, you're asking for me to push for giving us more low-skilled immigrants first? Or should we push them to fix the "more American welfare recipients" problem first?

Who has a problem with that? But as we all know, that isn't what happened during the last administration. So we have to clean that mess up then start over the right way.

But the left won't get as many loyal useful idiots that way.... THAT's the problem.
I do. Why should we import a bunch of low-skilled immigrants when we are paying a bunch of low-skilled Americans not to work?

Some people, apparently. See the other reply to my post.

Useful for what?

What process is defined in the Alien Enemies Act? That'd be the process due.
“The Supreme Court said then that individuals removed under the Alien Enemies Act must have the ability to contest their removal and have a meaningful opportunity and notice to do so before they are removed.”

I'm not asking you to do anything. We'd probably be better off if you devoted your efforts to your education.
Why not both? In a rational well thought and pragmatic manner of course, not some MAGA or Biden cluster flock.

Or….
Try this on for size….
We deport criminals that get arrested as a priority and leave the people with EFiN numbers paying the taxes……….that support lazy shit**** Americans that I don’t want on my job sites…..alone, until the criminal element is corrected. Then let’s reform the immigration system so those people we need can be utilized. And while we’re at it…..we might ask the employers who is in need of manpower instead of making blanket statements that don’t look anything like reality.

In Tennessee they have quietly stopped helping ice with anything other than the criminals they arrest because they’re killing productivity in the construction and manufacturing industries. Those are not low skilled low wage jobs.

You really need to change your stance or just shut up.
I really don’t like when you agree with me.

I'd reply but we'd likely be interrupted by your next "tee time" again. Carry on.
No need you asked a question and I provided the answer from SCOTUS. And they are the ultimate authority. If you disagree take it up with SCOTUS

No tee time today so just gonna sit back and laugh at the 💩 water carrying you’ll be doing all day.

I don’t have much sympathy for people who knowingly came illegally, stayed for years, and were then caught. Only statement being adhere to the law in removing them. But as you say being heavy handed on the ones trying their hardest to do it right is just petty and fruitless it makes others look at it and say why bother.

OK. If you're not asking me to see things from your POV, don't waste our time.

We'd probably be better off if you devoted your efforts to education.

Please explain. How should I take that? Are you saying that I should be devoting my efforts to educating the unskilled American non-workers as part of the remedy?

Or are we just going to immediately devolve to insults?

Why not both?

Didn't you just express a lack of faith that Congress would do anything about the welfare problem? You seemed to indicate that importing more unskilled foreign workers is the answer.

"When is Congress going to do anything about it?"

I don't know. If history is any indicator, probably when the pain of inaction has the voters force them to.

In a rational well thought and pragmatic manner of course, not some MAGA or Biden cluster flock.

I'd be happy to see any plan to do so and change my support one way or another, dependent on the details of the proposed plan. Until then, I'd be against importing more unskilled foreign workers while we pay unskilled American non-workers to stay home.

I know the answer from the SCOTUS. I read when it came out, as well as the AEA.

There is no contradiction in my statement.

§23. Jurisdiction of United States courts and judges

After any such proclamation has been made, the several courts of the United States, having criminal jurisdiction, and the several justices and judges of the courts of the United States, are authorized and it shall be their duty, upon complaint against any alien enemy resident and at large within such jurisdiction or district, to the danger of the public peace or safety, and contrary to the tenor or intent of such proclamation, or other regulations which the President may have established, to cause such alien to be duly apprehended and conveyed before such court, judge, or justice; and after a full examination and hearing on such complaint, and sufficient cause appearing, to order such alien to be removed out of the territory of the United States, or to give sureties for his good behavior, or to be otherwise restrained, conformably to the proclamation or regulations established as aforesaid, and to imprison, or otherwise secure such alien, until the order which may be so made shall be performed.

Good for you. Conversely, I found you such a waste of time during the "I've had 40 years to become incompetent at image analysis, so I'll attack your character for no good reason" days that I'll spend the day giving you exactly as much attention as you deserve.

Then you made a really stupid reply to the post you commented on. Perhaps more education is in order? 🤡

On by the way at risk of ruining my fun I simply love when you go all butt hurt on this. Remember I’m the one that saw an actual example of a modified image and went back and stated that to you. Didn’t have to and even though your “proof” didn’t support your contention which I also said and you conveniently leave out I figured I needed to. And then when you go all self righteous on victim hood it simply makes me giggle out loud 🤡🤡🤡

So there'll be enough workers to fill the business' needs, like the post mentions. Or we can wait for Trump to crash the economy and they won't be needed.
“Let ‘em in, they may kidnap your child or decapitate the Hotel Manager; but they cut my yard cheaper than the local English speaker”
Who pays workers comp, insurance, taxes and has to do business the legal way.
