Nationalized Voting

It seems like an easier fix would be for all the states to NOT give DLs to illegal aliens, and to issue drivers licenses that designate citizenship.

I don't disagree. But there are immigrants here on work visa's who need some sort of permit to operate a vehicle. I suppose it would be relatively easy to have an operator's permit designated as non citizen.

Voting should take some effort.
I disagree, and when that's the principle, it's always going to be easier for rich people with a bunch of free time to put forth that effort. So we get policies based around and catering toward those specific people, even more so than they already do

I'm not sure voting should require the same documentation as carrying a gun, but even if you think it should, I would be more receptive to requiring less documentation for firearms than to making it more (unnecessarily) difficult to vote
Carrying a gun is far less dangerous than voting.

Legal residents need to have a DL to legally drive that’s why. They cannot vote but they can use public roads. That is the impetus behind real ID which only establishes legal residency but not citizenship and that ID is used for freedom of travel.
And?

This is what you replied to:

That could be done or we could repeal the motor voter act and states require people to go to the local registrars office with BC or passport to register to vote.

This is why is was careful about my buy in on "ease". The nature of the budding disagreement between you and hog is his opinion that "it should take some effort" is inferred by you as free time available to vote.
With early voting, I don't know if there are any studies which show 'free time' correlates to voter turnout.
Anecdotally, the wealthier I have become over the decades, the less I am participating in the vote.

No fraud being found that would require nationalized (commie) voting control. Thats what he is talking about.

Point out where I mentioned fraud. That's what I AM talking about.

"Fraud" is the buzzy bootlicker soup du jour for MAGA.

Funny that y'all are the ones that used it.

It's everywhere, like trannies apparently, in MAGA land (which is flat by the way).

Kind of like "bootlicker", which is like an IQ test audition to be taken seriously in a discussion. An automatic fail.

How did poor people vote before early voting, mail in ballots and the motor voter law?

Besides, it doesn't look as if making it easier to vote has had any effect on voter participation.

Because Real ID which is the last thing mandated nationally and completely botched on rollout and interrupting travel and was a royal cluster fluck didn’t even require that level of proof. But sure just mandating that you have to have ANOTHER form of real ID will go easier this time.

For what you’re asking you need to look at the current process for a passport because that is the singular ID document that I am aware of that requires proof of citizenship. And it’s a complete circus and very long process. Months.

AI agrees when I googled it. Stated no statistically relevant percentage of voters were found to be not eligible. It’s just the latest red meat for the masses

I haven't proposed ANOTHER form of ID, einstein. I have simply proposed that an easy fix would be for each state to:

(A) Not give illegal aliens drivers licenses or IDs.
(B) Put on their (state-issued) licenses/IDs, a clear designator of citizenship.

Most conspiracy theories hold little to no water when all is said and done. For MAGA when a conspiracy gets debunked they create another conspiracy to fuel their rage. It's QANON all over.

I don't give AF what you said. You asked what he was talking about and I gave you the answer. See yourself out.
