'26 GA RB Will Rajecki (Tennessee)

From my friend who is a coach in Cherokee county- and he played at UGA:

“Hey man! Yeah, kid’s a stud. Don’t know that he’s SEC stud level, but I know everyone was after him. Originally committed to Memphis, which I didn’t think was high enough. I was thinking Tech, NC State, North Carolina would’ve been a good level. Kirby went to Sequoyah last week to see him.“

Playing in Georgia AAAAA football, Rajecki rushed 274 times for 1970 yds, and 30 TDs. Also caught 26 balls for 357 yds, and 2 TDs.

In three seasons, 660 carries for 4047 yds, and 55 TDs. Caught 81 balls for 1053 yds, and 11 TDs. Verified 4.48 speed.

Identical size to Christian McCaffery with similar speed and skill-set. Obviously, CMC is an incredible talent who had elite pedigree, so certainly not setting the bar there for expectations, but I don't know that this kid is necessarily "just a guy", either. He'll come with relatively low expectations for early contribution and may grow into the position. Will Shipley is another good comp.

I'm not certain he isn’t better than former Georgia high school RB prospect, Justin Baker. He also has identical size, very similar senior stats, speed, and recruiting rankings to another former Georgia HS running back, Javin Gordon, who just transferred to Tennessee from Tulane, and had a really nice freshman season (128/516/5 rushing, and 13/93/1 receiving). Gordon played Georgia AA football.
career ypc 6.13. Sr. year 7.19 in ga. 5A.

This is who’s left after this season in the running back room besides Gavin Jordan and Will Rajecki. 2,000 yards rushing and 30 TDs last season in Georgia HS competition. He’s not switching to linebacker View attachment 812571
Could be wrong, but I think Bishop technically has 2 years left.

He was a RS Sophomore this past year

You’re right he is. Although i wonder if he stays for 2027. If he has a season like this last year he should go pro. RB shelf life is short in the NFL, go make that money. He’s very good at what he does but (my opinion) i think he’s reaching/reached his ceiling. 1000 yards rushing rusher, straight line runner, decent speed, hard to bring down.

Watch this guy's Highlights. I think we got a steal. I'm excited about this dude.

Not to be a debbie downer but I want to feel the same way - unfortunately we live in an era where if he isn't getting significant playing time by year two then odds are he portals out. Back in the olden days I definitely feel like he's the kind of player who would stick it out and come year three or four, we're all impressed with what he became, a la Cedric Tillman.

The fact that GA is a neighbor state might play in our favor with him sticking around. But if we land DGG and Duane Morris is as advertised, snaps at RB might be hard to come by.

PWO’s transfer all the time.

Colin Brazell, Ryan Damron, Shannon Blair, Camron Douglas, Malik Ganaway etc are all recent examples of PWOs who chose to transfer.

I was saying that there shouldn’t be a concern if he transfers later. If he’s good then he’ll play

The first 10 yard burst from this kid is unreal.
He’s so fast the 1st 10 yards then at about 20 yards he just gets slow.
