The WRASSLIN’ Thread

Yeah, pretty clear that was Paul under the mask yesterday. Just wonder if he's going to be revealed as the person under the mask....
It was about the only exciting thing to happen in the rumble. Even the “surprise” entries were boring. HHH is continuing to deliver stale productions.

Well, according to WWE.com,the fans look to be very mixed on Roman winning it. Whoever he faces,im not looking forward to it.
To me the win only solidifies that he is in fact retiring this year. I firmly believe we’re going to get a repeat of the Cena storyline in that Roman will hold the belt after mania for a few months and defend it against some of his old rivals.

The promo between CM Punk and Roman Reigns was one of the best promos I have EVER heard. Dang.....felt personal.
Agreed! It was solid and they both killed it. I’m excited about the feud we’re going to start seeing! I’m also glad we’re not getting a Punk vs Breaker match. That was starting to feel stale.

What i didn't realize is only one time have Roman and Punk gone one on one with each other and it was 12 years ago. They've been in other kinds of matches together, but this will only be the second singles match. Its pretty exciting.

For two guys I'm not a big fan of,Roman and Punk had a solid promo and Roman got straight to the point on who he decided to choose instead of dragging it out a couple of weeks.

I was hoping that Raquel would have beaten Vaquer for the title. That street fight was good. I'm interested in the women's elimination chamber more than the mens..

I think somehow it will Cody,Fatu and Drew in a triple threat for the belt at WrestleMania. Fatu or Cody will win the chamber match, and the other will insert themselves into the match.

Really? I thought street fight it was pretty tame. If you’re gonna have a street fight, there needs to be more than two product placement tables.

Yeah, these tables were brought to you by Slim Jim.🙄🙄 My only complaint is that it went a little long. That was probably because they wanted to give Punk and Roman a long promo.

I watched Raw for the first time in about a month. Will probably be at least another month before i watch it again. Although, I do love the El Grande Americano situation lol.

Honestly thought the women's street fight was garbage.

Nothing else really stood out to me. The Reigns/Punk promo was decent. I didn't think it was anything special.

First time I've been disappointed in AEW. The MJF vs Brody King match was tomfoolery. Glimpses of the Kevin Nash vs Hulk Hogan tomfoolery in the 90' s..
Agree.

There has been something off about last Saturday's Collision and this week's Dynamite. I enjoyed Adrade vs. Omega. I thought that was an awesome match, but they need a longer match. I thought Ricochet and Jungle Jack was a good match as well. But that's about it on what I liked. Orange and Toni is entertaining, but it's getting a little silly. Brody squashing MJF was kind of silly as well, but it did build Brody as killer and a bigtime threat for MJF. I just don't think you ever, under any circumstance, squash your world champion.

I didn't think it was THAT bad lol.

Eliminator match and an assit from Hanger softened it for me. Besides it'll all the more impressive when MJF beats Brody in the actual title match.

You Can't SEE him!!! This is great haha!!

You know, I thought better of Cena. Out of everyone you'd think he would keep his word and actually retire. But, there he is shilling in some indie like he's actually gonna wrestle there. Expect to see him in AEW or TNA sooner than later.

I thought Collision was worlds better this week. Sky vs. Knight was a good match. I guess Sky is the "put over" guy now.

And then there's Mina Shirakawa to bring the show down. I am yet to see her have a good match. She's bad. She's so bad, she's almost WWE bad. And she doesn't protect her opponent.

Otherwise, strong show and a good crowd.
