That feeling will remain through the whole series. If it stays true to the source material, it’ll be a fun watch. There’s a lot of potential beyond the books too.

HOTD season 1 was really good.

I have no idea what they were thinking with season 2….

It’s ok, it’s just not GOT. Not much is. It’s kind of like the Star Wars prequels. I appreciate them because it’s how you got to the good stuff, but not the same level.

Maybe season 3 will get things right. I enjoy them but definitely enjoying Dunk and Egg a bit more

Man tonight’s episode was phenomenal.

I’m 100% in, can’t wait to see where this goes. Been a long time since I’ve felt this “I can’t wait until the next episode” feeling about a Thrones show.

Dunks speech that was serious, then had the comic relief fart and then the return to seriousness with Prince Baelor’s entrance and then them closing with the GoT theme music was peak television.

They pretty much started the first episode saying that what they’ve been dishing out has been with the theme music. Then they don’t play the theme music until this episode when they have Baelor rides in, essentially restoring credit back to it. That is awesome filmography!

Great episode. Enjoyed the flashback and makes you see why Dunk likes Egg so much. The last scene was a surprise even though I read the book, I completely forgot about that part lol

I just finished watching the show. It is really great. That kid who plays egg is really good. I like the fact that he still has some imagination when he's pretending to be a night and swing the sword. I don't know the book but they say that is following the book pretty accurately. Really an impressive show
