Why are telling me this? I didn’t make that post. I don’t think this person is a Tennessee fan so they aren’t salty about the outcome. Just giving their 2 cents.
As a Tennessee fan, I said I don’t endorse a coaching change.. while I fully agree that the system is not a good fit. The coach does have to look at her system and determine why it doesn’t work on this level.

I was responding to the post you quoted and expanding upon your discussion of it. The quote was to provide context, not to direct anything at you in particular.

There’s still a chance to get it rolling. If it clicks Tennessee can beat any team in the SEC. If they player as hard in the 1st half as they did today on the road against UConn they beat the brakes off Vanderbilt, Georgia, Missouri, Texas A&M, and Ole Miss.
If they play like they did in the 1st half today against UConn they will beat Texas, Oklahoma, and LSU with SC on the road being a toss-up.

I have been respectful reading the post games comments until now - but this has been one of the oddest post that I have ever read on a team message board.
"And if the officiating was fair Tennessee would win this game by a comfortable margin." What game did you watch? Refs could have called a dozen more fouls, rightfully or wrongfully, on UConn and UConn would still have won the game by a "comfortable margin".

Well if that’s the case take the officials out of the game and stop giving them control of the outcome of sports.
You might as well let the coaches and players call their own fouls!
We do that in pick-up basketball better than majority of these high level referees. To make it legitimate, probably throw in reply assistance on the sidelines for justification/proof.
Just a thought.

Nyla had an uncle who talked a lot. But I don’t get why he’d hang around here to crazy talk.

It makes me sad every time I see Nyla at NC.. She wanted to be an LV so bad, one of those kids who really appreciated the brand and the legacy.

I really like the other player we got she fell down some because she was out with an injury, but I think she is going to be a really good college player and can help us some even as a freshman. She is quick in a big body and those players usually do well even as freshmen.

I always thought she would want to transfer here after a year or two at NC since she abruptly decommitted. But now I’m not so sure

Was it a miracle to land Oliviyah Edwards out of that same bunch? I get it that some like to diminish the great HS recruiting success this staff has had in 21 months landing 4 McDonald’s All-Americans and 7 Top 50 recruits but that’s just a lie.
Tennessee has recruited and signed players that they battled and won recruiting battles against many top schools.
And just because a top player doesn’t include certain teams in their lists doesn’t mean they weren’t recruited by those schools.

That’s not what you said. You stated it would take a miracle which has flat out wrong. Oliviyah Edwards is the no.2 player in the 2026 class and her list included majority of the teams recruiting this player. Deniya Prawl #17 and Jaida Civil #20 were both recruited by South Carolina. Prawl was also recruited heavily by Notre Dame and Baylor. Civil was sought after by North Carolina, Ole Miss, among others. Mia Pauldo was the no. 9 player in top 2025 class.
I’m just naming teams I know off the top of my head.
There’s absolutely no point in acting as Tennessee needs a miracle to land a HS recruit against any schools when they have signed 4 McDonald’s All-Americans 7 overall Top 50 prospects including Mya Pauldo, Lauren Hurst, and Gabby Minus.
You could’ve just said it will be a battle without diminishing the success this staff has had in recruiting.
They have been as successful as any WBB staff since arriving in Knoxville.

Well I Heard UConn is leading so we would have to catch up. I think our chance is somewhat below them they usually get who they want.

I don’t listen to rumors from SkimMilkey or the other back channel recruiting sites.
If they go to UConn that’s nothing to worry about.. the portal will provide an abundance of options to add quality players to the roster.
