Duke QB entering portal?

Miami trying to pay insane $$$ to get him and now they are being accused of tampering.
This is probably why DW did 3 interviews yesterday and said “ we are still on probation”.
We missed the window of getting a QB without walking them into the portal behind the scenes or “tampering”.

I’ll say this again F the NCAA. No one should fear them anymore. They have no power

That's easy to say but if an ultra rich school walks in and snatches all those Penn State transfers AND Knowles from us, you'd be crying "Where is the NCAA? This isn't right! They can't let them do this!"

Tampering isn’t a crime , it doesn’t exist and or it doesn’t matter.

I mean what is tampering even? Schools can’t pay an athlete to play for them. Collectives are merely working out a business transaction with the agents or family to see if they will be available and if so the football coach might have a place for them

Paying football players like Pruitt did isn't a "crime" but it was enough to cost us a lot of money, probation, bowl eligibility (voluntary,) scholarships, etc with the NCAA and we are still under those sanctions.

Tampering with players not in the portal carries similar NCAA penalties.

It's not a crime but it's a rule the NCAA can punish schools for breaking.

Exactly. It's another bogus NCAA rule that will be tossed as soon as anyone gets hit with it and takes them to court...where they'll lose just like one everything else.

"Tampering" is no different than corporate headhunting in the business world.
