And Heard was terrible last year. Really bad. Better this year, but regressed and now at Kensucky.

He actually graded out as one of the better tackles in the country. You always seem to put your foot in your mouth when it comes to running your mouth. Not sure why people like you are ok with being confidently ignorant

They allegedly spent $40M last year...but that's all conjecture. I am not sure how much it matters if that son of a WR Manning doesn't get better at reading defenses and throwing on time. Hes a great athlete and has a good arm. He wasnt a great QB this past season though...after 2 full years of sitting behind a starter and getting coached up by Sark. Maybe he should have been a WR like his dad? Or maybe he will break out this year and be great. No idea.

I like Pendleton and love his throwback helmet. I wore one just like it to keep from getting poked in the eyes. He played well against lesser competition and some SEC schools...but OK for example realized that they could line up beast DTackles on him and exposed a weak spot in the middle of our Oline. We couldn't have run for 50 yards on 25 carries up the middle vs them. There were other games where he struggled too. Probably just getting used to the talented Monsters some SEC teams have at DT...and playing center all the time. He needs to add a little size and strength IMO. I am glad we have him back for next season. Him and Sham were the weak points in our Oline in 25 though IMO.

Not likely, in part because there doesn't seem to be interest in swinging back to him at this point. The talent is immense and apparent, but if we let Heard walk to move Sanders to left tackle, I don't see why the coaches would bring in another guy determined to play left tackle. If he was open to right tackle, maybe I could see it.

It's more about what he'll cost relative to the improvement he'd be over what we have, combined with the bad attitude he brings. I don't want another Me-first guy, which he showed during his recruitment. Plus, I'm petty.

Doesn't matter, we're not going after any more OL. I think we really like Ory Williams at RT and Seaton is going somewhere to be LT. We have Sanders there.

Hah I agree. I’m just messing. In a perfect world we could put Sanders and Seaton out there together and maul everybody. But sounds like all these kids are goofy about playing LT and it probably would cause us the kinda problems we don’t want.

Heard made all SEC and only gave up one sack in the regular season. But I think he was the highest paid player on the team. We wanted him to flip to the right side and he said his new price was $3m. So we drew the line.

Nothing would convince me that UK paid anywhere close to that. If we allowed an all conference (3rd team) player move on down the line to satisfy a freshman’s demands, then shame on us.

So, if we are that weak at the negotiating table, we need to fox some crap quick.

What’s illegal about it?

I played this prank more than once on people I knew in college. It’s classic. We had a prank week two years in a row, best and worst week of my life all in one. We had to discontinue after second year when it was clear some people could not be trusted to refrain from escalating beyond the set-forth ground rules.
