Correct me if I'm wrong but I feel like clearly Knowles would've asked about NIL money and what was available before accepting the job. That being said if he felt like he was going to be very limited on what he could do NIL wise then he probably would've turned it down. I also feel like Heupel would've been upfront with him if NIL was an issue. I just have a hard time believing that we don't have the money. It's so disheartening though to see schools like LSU and Ole Miss with seemingly endless NIL funds taking whoever they want. If TN truly wants to win championships instead of just talking about it then they're going to have to spend the money to bring in the talent.

He’s not athletic or fast enough to be an effective linebacker in this league.

I guess we will find out. If our new defensive coordinator thinks that, then his name should be in the portal any day now. Since we haven't heard a word about him it might mean that JK thinks he can be a player at this level.

I have negative thoughts about Tennessee athletics at times, but just don't find it necessary to post them. Probably just a generational difference. Not a put down, just a thought.

I understand what I watched this past season and that was bad defense. Secondary was awful and got pushed around the front seven.

You're positively entitled after the wasteland we endured for a couple of decades and then to think that you should go through life without having to experience anything that you don't enjoy. It's pure entitlement to think you should be able to spend someone else's money to escape a bit of disappointment in life. Also extremely weak-minded.

Lower your sodium intake and switch to decaf. You'll live longer and be more bearable to be around.

I can't answer misinterpretations. Quantify "a bunch of money" and share source. We are top ten in NIL. Certain players are blowing the lid off of market value against analytics. We aren't scrambling in to spend too much on overvalued players and not fill our needs. The best portal performers of 2025 were not the teams that spent the most money. They are the teams that spent the most intelligently.
