Ty didn't have a run game and he was still able to throw. Manning had better teams than Simpson had.

It looked kind of funny when he first started doing it. It took a few years for him to look comfortable and do it a little more fluidly

FWIW:
He had pretty much the same D that Tee had in 98.

Tee added in as a true duel threat qb, that broke some passing records from 98 - 99

Peyton was way more equipped to be a pocket pro qb.

Peyton also hit that tough 1997 Nebraska team.
