2025/26 Transfer Portal Thread

Apparently (other than NIL) Jakobe Thomas and other DBs that entered or thought about entering the transfer portal after 24/25 season with Vols didn’t like being in a fluid rotation as a unit and looked for a system where they would get the bulk of the snaps as a starter. Was the rotation approach Heupel or Banks and will this be any different with Knowles?

So you want 2 freshman QBs? Gotcha
People say redshirt freshman, however, GMac will be a sophomore with 1.5 years in the system and around a quarter of college football experience. But yes, we will need someone to complete with Gmac for the starters job or be the backup.

Our staff needs to just go with the hot hand more at RB. Star Thomas was shredding Illinois, never should have come out the game after that besides for short breathers.
Agree, I did see him asking to come out a couple of times, so I don’t know.
