That's how you recruit. They wanted others first and kept Morris in the fold as a local guy. Then, when the others went elsewhere, they got Morris.Even if that were true, it again doesn't address the fact that the was from TN. We didn't even turn on attention to him till late in the process.
And no, I certainly didn't see the top end talent he has in the 30 carries he had between ETSU, UF, UAB where he averaged barely 4 yards a carry.
According to a source, Florida has strong interest in Kansas safety Lyrik Rawls, a 6-foot-1, 205-pound safety who finished the 2025 season with 72 tackles (56 solo), seven pass deflections and one interception. He has one guaranteed season of eligibility for 2026 and the potential for a second if a medical redshirt from 2023 is approved.
