I thought 8 was a good number. There were a lot of really good teams left out of the 4 team playoff. Georgia in 2023 comes to mind. Undefeated going into the SEC Championship and got bumped out because they lost by 3 points. That shouldn’t happen.

Tough day for Tulane, obviously. Just like when they beat USC and Caleb Williams in the 2023 Cotton Bowl, I was hoping for a great win today. I didn’t think it’d happen, but Davids do beat Goliaths.

I follow various Tennessee and Tulane social media accounts and this popped up.
