Basilio (huge grade of slaw, obviously) says Colton Hood has seen his value tank from where it was early on in the season, and he is getting day 3 grades from NFL feedback people. Allegedly, many at Tennessee now expect him to return to school with an obvious pay bump.

IF true, I think it is huge to have Hood, Gibson, and Redmond at the CB and Nickel positions in Knowles's defense. Great head start with some guys with major frontline experience in the secondary.

I had seen Hood in one mock draft just in the last week as a late 1st rounder, so not sure how accurate Basilio's info is, or if the ESPN guys are just way off operating with old information.

I think, long term, anytime Tennessee brings a kid in & coaches him into a first/second round draft pick... especially as a transfer? Huge win for recruiting

Pretty sure he dropped a pass in every game. He left a good 250-300 yards on the field just in drops. That actually might be light bc a couple were bombs right in his hands.

I stopped counting his drops after the New Mexico St game.

But all combined yeah it was something like 200 yards he left out there.., basically he could have been 1,000 yard - 10 TD as the 2nd or 3rd Wr

I want (tbh, need) continuity at WR. Drops aside, Matthews and Staley both jumped this year and I think next year could be special. A team with 2x 1,000 yard receivers is a national title contender and they have the talent to achieve that

Staley will for sure be on the early Biletnikoff watchlist, wouldn't be surprised MM either..

MM could’ve had the same number’s Brazzell had this year had he not had the drops, clean that up next year and he can be a 1st round pick. With him being the top outside option I expect a big year from him.

No fanbase hates their own players more Tennessee’s does. Tristen Keys better live up to the hype or this fanbase will trash him too. This fanbase was trashing Brazzell a year ago. It’s already started with Ament.

I don't think that's an issue.

The big thing was getting rid of Banks.
Many people thought he wouldn't do that.

So Price and Hubbs has already said they're being more aggressive this year. And some kids still have games they want to play in and won't go into the portal later in a few weeks

They need to go to collective bargaining and be done with it. That’s the solution, and that’s where it will end up once the NCAA finally kicks the can. Multi-year contracts will keep players at one spot their entire college career.
