They have 1 natty since our last one. They did not win the natty in 2004. I was like 30 years old then and remember that season well, no one considered them national champions outside of some of their fans and maybe a local paper or two. I guarantee you they didn't pay Tommy Tuberville any "national championship bonus" either.

Thats an incredible WR room. All 3 starters next year will be NFL WRs. All 3 of our WRs in 2025 broke 700yds for the first time ever and finished top10 in the SEC. Brazzell broke 1000 and was the best WR in the SEC.

Pope is the hottest WR coach in the country now that OSU lost theirs. Everybody and their mama wants him. You may not personally like him, and thats OK, but objectively he is the most sought after WR coach in the nation.

I don’t dislike him. The WRs were just mehhhhh last year. They had an insane year this year. Either way he just got paid and added a title so no one cares what I think.

Relax. Pope just recently inked a 2 year extension with a nice $$$$$$ raise + bonuses. Heup is the one who believed in him and gave him the shot. Poachers is what happens with success. But I think his loyalty to the one who gave him the promotion will stick.

Well I posted this prior to his extension… and concluded the post after he was extended… so yeah we’re all good now.

Sounds like Garner is the one, poachers are going after. He hasn't inked an extension or raise with tn yet. His contract up this year. Something tells me, somebody offering bank to him, and he needs to think about it.
