Mighty Vols, well, Georgia is canceling games and rescheduling cupcakes because of the nine game rule next year. Alabama is rescheduling games because of the nine game rule next year. I’m sure there are others in the SEC doing the same thing to make their schedules easier, but not mighty Vols. You see we don’t run from anyone we are great we can’t be defeated. We don’t take advantage of schedules to try to give us better odds for the playoffs not our mighty vols. We never seem to get the message. The rest of the conference understands taking advantage of your schedule is smart football. There comes a time that revenue is not nearly as important as having a consistent winning program. I just hope somebody wakes up before it’s too late.

UGA has GaTech at the end of the schedule every year, so they don’t have as many options.

There is no reason to schedule anyone other than a bottom feeding power 4 school with what you play in the SEC. Injuries are an issue every year and every hard hitting game you play increases those risk. If we have schools like Ohio State on our schedule we should drop them period. Look at what happened to Tex this year. That early close loss cost them a playoff spot. You can tell me the Florida loss cost them, but I believe if they didn't lose that first game, they would still be in the playoffs right now. You can win the conference without playing anyone worth a crap outside the conference and you can make the playoffs because the SEC is strong enough. If you are in the playoffs, you get those big games so you haven't dodged anything at that point.
