My daughter got accepted to UT officially. Not that I had any doubts about it, but she was nervous. If she can't get in to UT with a 34 ACT and a 4.5 GPA, then I am not sure how some of you morans made it.

Times they are a changing. Over half my nephews graduating class at CAK is attending UT.

I honestly don't remember what I made on the ACT or the SAT. That was 30+ years ago and life has thrown a lot at me since then.

I do like Ryan Walters as a candidate, a few reasons why.

1. He's young just 39 - I think this makes for the better recruiters because they're more relatable to the kids and also they're willing to do more of the "check in" stuff some older coaches don't usually do and will be more familiar with using social media to recruit.
2. He's already had head coaching experience, he was awful BUT I think those 2 years taught him a lot and it will be beneficial to both him and Heupel
3. A variety of experience...he's worked at Colorado (where he played), Arizona, OU, North Texas, Memphis, Missouri, Illinois, Purdue (HC) and now Washington...
