It shouldn't ruin your day..

Tigers would receive

Glasnow under contract thru 2027
Sheehan Under team control thru 2029 plus and Dodgers top outfielder prospect...

2 top end rotation guys and a young outfielder to go with the 2 stars you already have.. win,win for Tigers...

We both know they weren't going to re-sign Skubal anyway..

The media is selling the chicken little story that bowls are dying because some 7-loss teams that have no business in bowl games are not accepting the offers. Really I think they are trying to coverup and deflect from the reality that ND is afraid to play BYU in a bowl game — the two highest ranked non-CFP teams — because it they lose it will ruin the fake-arse “martyr” story.

Conference championships don’t mean much in baseball or basketball for the same reason.

It’s the selection committee that sucks and the weekly AP and “coaches” polls that do nothing but work to influence the committee all year. We already knew that: not only did the CFP not ban Michigan from the playoff for all their violations, they actually put Michigan in charge of the selection committee last year. And the same for the NCAA who deliberately stalled for Michigan, covered the worst infractions, failed to take up the issue Michigan stealing UT’s signals, and then gave the slightest of slaps on the wrist. We, by contrast, won’t be past recruiting penalties until 2028. In sum, the issue is that the NCAA has always been corrupt as is now the CFP. This has nothing to do with NIL. In fact, the good thing about NIL is that people like Saban — whose entire “achievement” was based on buying recruiting classes with the corrupt NCAA deliberately turning a blind eye — had to face a situation where other teams could pay, too. So Saban quit.

Tony Vitello was prolly the biggest user of the transfer portal and benefitted the most. But nobody complained about that.

The NCAA is so extremely corrupt that football has benefitted by being out of its control. Saban and others keep trying to cap it. Why? Because then we will be back to NCAA pets like Bama cheating with impunity while their rivals are sanctioned. It brings bag the illicit bag game.

I’m glad the Heisman is irrelevant. I wish it would go away.

That the networks are making bank is true. They are extremely corrupt as you can see by the way they make it their mission to coverup and teach their audience to deny the corrupt officiating in our league.

That’s my take on all the bullet items. No expecting everyone to agree with me.

The fundamental difficulty is that there is no person or governing body that can be trusted to justly govern the sport. That is the primary issue. Everyone who proposes changes illicitly smuggles in or assumes the idea that whatever rules are changed or replaced will be administered justly.

Consider how F’d the media polls are.
