I’ll be honest I don’t think we sniff beating Vandy this year regardless. OU, sure. Vandy whooped that ass tho.

No flippin sh!t. I don't care how good a coach is if he doesn't have the horses he aint gonna win. Show me a coach that has good defense with scrubs. Most fans put too much credit\blame on coaching. Jimmies and Joes.

I just remember living down in Ga when Willie being DB coach at UGA and the UGA fans hated him because of how bad he was and I started watching their games and he was bad and then they got really mad when M Richt made him DC and he was worse and then he was fired. Then Tn hired him and they loved the hire. The things we complained about is the same thing they complained about.DBs not turning their heads around and seemed to always chasing WRs instead of covering them.

I feel like these last years we seen less of that tho. Better talent always makes coaching look better. My biggest gripe is recruiting. Our secondary hasn't recruited more talented DBs and it's the only position group to consistently recruit 3 star players.

Hate it for Banks. Ultimately he's responsible for it all. When you go 4/5 years, with what we have access too. And field one of worst in SEC. It kinda writes itself. Kudos to Josh for making the right decision.

Will be bumpy here for a bit, may lose some guys. But was the right call.

Recruiting has to get better. Talent eval has to get better. Honestly, i'm not impressed at all with Martinez' ability to recruit and make guys better. He and Banks have been pedestrian, outside of lucking into two porthole guys.

Request for prayers. As some know, I took a life-changing job in DC that started in September. In October we had our second child. I haven't had any time off and we knew it would be a challenge, but we didn't factor in how difficult this would all be for our oldest daughter (3.5yo).

We knew there would be an adjustment, but she's very obviously dealing with anxiety and probably depression. Multiple times a day she cries because she misses her friends from her old preschool. Multiple times a day she asks to call or facetime her grandparents, aunts, and cousins, something she never asked to do before we moved. While out she will go from being happy and in the moment to panicking and asking for her blanket or to be held.

We know part of that is being a 3yr old learning how to regulate emotions. And her imagination is definitely coming in full swing now. It's just been hard for us to watch and manage especially.

We are trying our best. We call family daily, we do fun things on weekends as often as possible, we are trying to make this Christmas a magical one, she's at a new school now slowly making new friends. Also hoping to start going to church where she's in school to create more of a connection for her and us. We also talked last night and plan to sit down with her and create a very structured schedule to alleviate some of her anxiety and help her and us manage each day. We just need some encouragement, prayers, and support.

And we need the Vols to play a bowl game so she can run around screaming "Woo!" As I sing Rocky Top and celebrate touchdowns.

My family moved all over the country my whole life...we lived in 4 states by the age of 12 and I had 3 younger stairstep siblings....it wasn't ideal, but we were fine, we got used to it, she will be fine and adjust and will probably end up being more adventurous for it.
