Inge wasn’t an internal hire. So he has shown a willingness to add outside coaches to his staff.

I don’t think anybody knows what Heupel is gonna do here. He hadn’t really shown he was willing to fire anybody yet so he can still surprise us.

The aggression they showed on signing day has me optimistic he makes a big hire here.

Also we are in a drastically better spot now looking for a DC than we were when we hired Banks.

I appreciate what Banks did here. But he was clearly not the coach to get us to the next level. Great decision by Heupel.

They only get punished if they were already out of the playoff.

I’ll give you they should’ve fallen below Miami to 10 but that’s it.

It was definitely the right decision by Heupel to move on from Banks. The defense prevented us from getting to the playoffs this year imo. The injuries at CB didn't help but it was more than just poor play from the secondary. I will support whoever they hire, however, UT needs to do their be$t in landing a proven coach that can right the ship quickly on defense. GBO!!!

We were never good enough as a team to make the playoffs this year. Defensive struggles obviously didn't help. Offense had their struggles as well especially against good teams (UGA being the exception).

Hope we attack the portal heavy especially on defense. Hopefully we already have Banks replacement identified and an agreement.
