Eat right, Run..bike..work out..swim..yoga..and die anyway. What’s your health and workout plan

So, I adopted a variant of the Whole Body Reset diet earlier this year. It emphasizes 30 grams of protein each of three otherwise modest meals per day. It has helped me feel better. If I’d lay off the cheats of this holiday season, I’d do better losing the excess pounds. Weather and travel have kept me from meeting my cycling goals the past three weeks.

I have a sweet tooth so I had to find something to keep that somewhat in check so I started making vanilla greek yogurt and mixing it with PB powder, honey and some chocolate protein granola
I made some keto cookie dough fat bombs over Thanksgiving to assuage the craving for desserts. Cream cheese, butter, almond flour, swerve, vanilla, salt, and Lilly's dark chocolate chips. They are delicious.

Our new treadmill is such an improvement over the old one. It's still super smooth and quiet at inclines of 10-12, great for weighted climbs.

There are really good deals on lightly used ones to be found, no doubt. I paid $500 and it's around $3,000 new.
Probably the best thing you can buy used! Takes two seconds to see if it’s used or not.

My Nordictrac I bought in 2008 is still going strong. Hubby has replaced the control board once, and had it rebuilt once. Mechanically it is still great.

We had an old Nordictrac and I'm 95% certain the board was bad. It was going to be $350 for a new board without any guarantee that would fix it, and the deck had gotten pretty noisy. When I found this gently used Spirit right down the road on FB marketplace, it was an easy decision.

Heated vinyasa this morning.
Got to yoga landing and there were people standing around the front door. The lock had broken and they couldn’t get in. The locksmith couldn’t come till tomorrow and they were about to cancel classes for the day…..so I took the lock apart and opened the door. ( childhood criminal activity to the rescue) we had class. I set the door so it would lock and put tape over the striker so they could have class the rest of the day.

Just a normal Sunday

60 min Orange Theory yesterday. It was run to row on the tread. .6 miles on the tread then 200 meter all out row. Ended up getting just over 3 miles in that way on the tread. Those run to row classes are tough. Even tougher when you have been sick and haven't been to class in over two weeks.

5k on the tread this morning.
