Nutrition is 80% of your fitness and how you feel. I started really paying attention to it about three years ago and its made all the difference in the world. I need to get better about it and really lock in.Signed up for an online coach/personal trainer. Also a nutrition app to go with it. (Never paid attention to macros before.)
My normal workouts were 30 min on the treadmill, 20-25 min strength video, alternating days. It worked for a while. But I've realized how easy it has become most days (which doesn't benefit me at all.) I've followed a fitness person in instagram for a while, and saw an ad on black friday that she was on a coaching app. She's my age. So I went for it. Even did before pictures and sent them in, along with measurements. I'm going all in.
Today was the first workout day. It was an hour. I got up without hitting snooze, made coffee, did my bible reading, caught up on socials for a minute, then started the workout. Still had time to wash and blow dry my hair. Breakfast with hubby, made my lunch, and out the door. I totally have time for an hour workout, and I knew that. I just didn't have the reason to do it. Now I do.
And I LOVED the workout! Tonight I will scope tomorrow's and have everything set up. I could have been a lot better this morning if I did that last night, but it's a process.
What I do works (for what I'm doing) and keeps me in the healthy range of BMI. What she made for me is more calories, more carbs, and more fats. And after doing the first workout, I understand why. lolNutrition is 80% of your fitness and how you feel. If it wasn’t for sweets I would have an awesome 6pack for an old manNutrition is 80% of your fitness and how you feel. I started really paying attention to it about three years ago and its made all the difference in the world. I need to get better about it and really lock in.
