They probably see the fan base is disappointed and they figure it will be an easy less expensive, travel for mid-state fans.

Honestly, the playoffs combined with players sitting out have essentially ended bowl season to me. I have more interest in the transfer portal at this point than the bowl game, and that feels sad.

Yeah, many Vol fans will travel to warmer climates and use the bowl game as an excuse to escape the cold. Obviously the MCB doesn't offer that.

I think the MCB will be more attractive when the new stadium is built.

Knowing Banks could be there is enough to make people stay home. If Banks is not fired then DW and Heup are not to be taken serious any longer. Knowing Banks is the reason Tn is not in the CFP.
