That is what all the announcers are doing - only talk about the FSU lost and not the beating Georgia at Georgia or the two losses that Miami has to unranked teams.

I have no clue what it going to be the final outcome - just think that if Miami and ND were better than Bama they should have been ranked ahead of them going into this last week.

I’m not in the room with the committee, but I’m 99% confident ND and Miami are both in while Bama is out.

Then let’s take GA out of the equation. Don’t you think we should AT LEAST be able to play defense as well or better than Vanderbilt with our level of talent? Because they beat our eyes shut and made us like it.

We had no problem getting in without controversy last year when we clearly had no passing game and lost to crappy Arkansas.

Bama and Ole Miss losing the next to last weekend of the season (I think?) greased the skids for us.

Had OM beat Florida and Bama beaten OU, we could have easily been shut out

Our passing game wasn’t great but it was there lol. Bama legit cannot run the ball AT ALL.

I hate Alabama but they shouldn't get punished for playing in a championship game and losing. They still deserve to be in the playoff. No team should be punished like that for losing a conference championship.

One of the talking heads argued that a team that didn't play (ND, Miami) should not leapfrog a team that played in a championship game but lost.

3 losses doesn't necessarily mean a team isn't getting in. Especially one of them being a conf championship loss. And it shouldn't. Look at how Notre Dame skates thru this unscathed with a weak down the stretch schedule and fortunately for them don't even have to bother with a championship game. But Alabama should be punished? Doesn't make sense.

They gotta have 12 teams. Some of the teams will be cannon fodder. with 12 you have to have a bunch of mediocre teams which have no business in there. None of the mediocre teams actually getting in "deserve" it, so the ones being left out really don't deserve it.

No team with 3 losses should get in, but I wouldn't be surprised if some do.

Three loss Alabama would wipe the floor with whoever the #11 and #12 seeds are. And several more of the other seeds too. Three losses doesn't mean a team sucks and can't possibly compete at a high enough level in the playoff.

No they don’t really deserve to be in bc they have three losses. On the other hand, they are absolutely a better team than some that will make it. I guess we will learn more about the parameters for getting in. Personally, I hope they leave Bama out, yes my team just dominated them, but they still make me nervous.

Watched game with Bama fan. He took it pretty well but tried to make the case that Bama should be in the playoffs. No doubt that Bama and Vandy could defeat many playoff teams but the Tide sure looked sad right before the decision is made. He griped about Bama having to play Georgia twice in the state of Georgia. SEC championship was a joke compared to the Big Ten.
