Notre Dame lost to 2 playoff teams by a combined 4 points . In August and Sept.

Alabama lost to 2 non playoff teams by a combined 16, and one playoff team by 21.

Miami lost to 2 non playoff teams by a combined 9 points and beat ND hd to hd.

I think ND beats both if they play now!

if you let them be a non conference all they got to do is have two good losses and no good wins every year and be in.

But they weren’t competitive. There’s lots of non playoff teams that could play and lose by 3 touchdowns or less to TT.
