SI - copied / pasted part of his quote. As i said, how he stays. But to say he is 100% wanting to be at UT appears to be false.

The poster I replied to said Ohio st signed another 5* today. And, @doom”mentioned Hartline leaving - true. But he’s w

But Bey appears to be Ohio st bound unless he has a change of heart. Who knows at this point - too much drama. But to say he def wants to be a TN Vol is untrue as of today

Here you go -

Bey-

"Unfortunately it's true, But I would like for everyone to give my mom the upmost respect. I turn 18 in 20 days so it most likely will be Go Bucks," said the talented prospect in a TikTok comment.

The saga will continue, as he turns 18 on Christmas Eve. Until then, there will be some more news that will likely be released.
That doesn't appear to be his account, that was from yesterday and it doesn't match any of his known accounts......... At least that's what I've seen posted.

Did you all happen to catch the uga collective suing damon wilson for transferring to missouri? All theory here but i could see where bey could have signed an nil deal with the same liquidated damages clause uga is using. Which would mean bey would owe tennessee essentially the full contract amount if he transferred
Meh. I would only look to collect any money paid out. Kids are going to transfer. If they've already taken money to sign, just pay it back and move on.

Whatever the situation, I hate how it makes us look. We didn't force him to sign here. If his mom did it, shame on her. But we're the ones getting the negative publicity. I'm all for the kid going where he wants to go, but i shouldn't be Tennessee getting dragged through the mud. It should be his mom or his brother or whoever created this damn mess. Which means not us.

it doesn't make us look anyway. we did none of this.

Correct. Also…isn’t he “supposed to signed out of his social media accounts”? Forgetting that aspect (one that they came up with initially to further fabricate this whole deal) is the one flaw in these OSU troll jobs. That, and posting these statements by him with perfect punctuation (as we know most teenagers do these days 😂)

Without knowing the truth and a bunch of social media posts that state supposed facts.
How does it make us look?
How does it make OSU look waiting to tell him Hartline was gone?
How does it make OSU fans look?

All we did is offer, he said yes and committed, then, flipped to OSU, then on signing day, he signed with Tennessee and now somebody (OSU/Bey) is hollering foul.
Henry flipped to OSU from Oregon.

This is basic HS drama. With a few extras.

There are a few conservations we are probably not Privy to which are 1) Hartline and Bey, 2) 3rd party, other schools, 3) Pope and Bey, 4) Mom and Son and no telling who else regarding Nil and $$$$.

This is why I hate OSU so much "The Fans" 90% of this may have been fan generated.
I would not be surprised if another school was in the mix.

So how do we look bad? We don't, we have bird in hand, the 18th Birthday is coming and my thought is to lets wait. He can hit the portal he can sign with OSU or he can go elsewhere. His decisions at that point.

Some outside entity may be or may not be to blame.

Of course the media is going to run with this drama because of clicks, NIL, and Drama.

He is signed with Tennessee, OSU cannot even talk to him nor can other schools. Not worth the risks with all the publicity it has drawn. He may have put himself on an island with Tennessee.

Getting hammered at home by little brother, worst defense in SEC, crazy hard schedule next year , finding a new starting quarterback ,etc 🤷‍♂️ . Maybe a few I’m missing.

Close to the worst D in SEC but not worst.

I don’t think waiting on a kid to make up his mind will have any bearing on how we do vs Vandy next year.

Everybody has a crazy hard schedule next year.

Obviously, the kid should go to whatever school he prefers. As we learned recently, no sense trying to keep a player who does not want to be here....a losing battle for the Vols. On the positive side, if he doesn't go with us, that gives us more $$ to find a good defensive player (a higher need) in the portal. No hard feelings here.

However, since there APPEARS to be some disagreement in his family where he should go, maybe he should have waited till February 4th, 2026. That way he will be 18, and that would give him and his family more time to discuss. If you're not sure, why not wait?

The parents of recruits should take an example from Archie Manning. Although I'm sure he preferred Peyton to go to Miss., he left it entirely up to Peyton and supported his decision. I also understand that he never interfered with Fulmer's development of Peyton. That's a loving parent...maybe both Nico's and Boo's parents should take note. 🤫

Mountains out of mole hills. Those are every year issues sans the QB problem. Going to have ups and downs. Ain’t like we’re totally starting from scratch everywhere

David Cutcliffe is the reason he was a VOL, no other reason. It was a relationship between the family and Cut that brought him here. Eli to Mississippi? why? The HC at Mississippi was
D. Cutcliffe. part of the deal.

Not wholly true. Yes relationships were important. Largely, Cooper got injured. And how he was handled turned Peyton and Archie off. Also, Archie sat back and let Peyton make his own decision. But id say after Cut and Phil, those two, showed Arch and Peyton their plan. It was done.

Dont forget that there was another ballyhooed freshman recruit, Todd Helton, and Brandon Stewart. Bringing in those receivers was huge.

Remember Phil was on every teams short list of HCs back then. He was the best recruiter.

Hopefully I’m worried about nothing, I’m an old man who’s been around UT football for a long time. Not beating a team with a pulse of any kind and losing 3 home games is tough. I know how close the UGA game was and how we were rebuilding , but those things reflect on coaching. I love coach and hope for the best but it’s never comfortable being a Vol fan.
