'26 TX WR Legend Bey (Tennessee)

Did you all happen to catch the uga collective suing damon wilson for transferring to missouri? All theory here but i could see where bey could have signed an nil deal with the same liquidated damages clause uga is using. Which would mean bey would owe tennessee essentially the full contract amount if he transferred
Tennessee isn't doing that. It would look super petty on our part.

The easy way around these situations is simply don't pay the NIL payments until after the window closes

Remember Grumors? I have been around long enough to recognize how much this fan base WANTS something to go wrong. some of yall need something to worry about, heck my first instinct was his re-commitment was suspect; but it doesn't mean I go looking for things to worry about.
You are speaking in absolutes when you shouldn’t be.

They don't pay until the player enrolls in school.

their staff took a big hit when Hartline left. especially with OSU allegedly trying to cover it up, that would sour a lot of people. Bey wasn't the only one that was shook, so its reasonable to think his flip might have been real.
Hope you are rt.

My comment is If he truly wants out of LOI am pressured to sign. I posted yesterday “big if” on another thread . But more has come out today.

If he wants to leave - so be it. If he wants to stay and someone else logged onto his social media- then great.

We will be fine with him or without him. I just how the kid is at peace w his decision.

I have no idea if tennessee is doing that or not, but i know the vast majority of schools are now, i would assume Tennessee does have that clause and can choose weather or not to pursue it

the way that that liquidation clause works, he wouldnt have needed to have been paid the NIL agreement would just have to be in place, like with uga and wilson, uga paid wilson 110k on an agreement that was worth 500k, the clause essentially made it so that if he leaves uga for any reason, we would have to pay to uga whatever uga didnt pay the player on the agreement, meaning uga is seeking 390k. if bey was under this same agreement and hadnt been paid anything then he would owe tennessee the full amount to transfer

No what was it?
SI - copied / pasted part of his quote. As i said, how he stays. But to say he is 100% wanting to be at UT appears to be false.

The poster I replied to said Ohio st signed another 5* today. And, @doom”mentioned Hartline leaving - true. But he’s w

But Bey appears to be Ohio st bound unless he has a change of heart. Who knows at this point - too much drama. But to say he def wants to be a TN Vol is untrue as of today

Here you go -

Bey-

"Unfortunately it's true, But I would like for everyone to give my mom the upmost respect. I turn 18 in 20 days so it most likely will be Go Bucks," said the talented prospect in a TikTok comment.

The saga will continue, as he turns 18 on Christmas Eve. Until then, there will be some more news that will likely be released.

Read earlier that this is from a fake account. Not Bey’s real account. Beats me one way or the other but a lot of misinformation floating around.

No idea if its a "fake" account but its definitely not from his account he's known to use.
