Memphis was the same channel 5, I believe. Sunday mornings around 8-9.I remember as a kid during the late'60s - early '70s, when the Ara Parseghian Show was piped into Knoxville Sunday morning TV under the auspices that it was hosted by Knoxville native Lindsey Nelson.
I can't imagine that kind of b.s. happening today.
I remember as a kid watching Bill Battle Show and Ara Paseghian Show came on after Battle’s show. One Sunday morning , I was at a football banquet and I wanted to watch Bill Battle Show. One room had a tv and 4 or 5 people were watching the Vol replay. TN had just beat Clemson and Larry Seviers caught a miracle pass for a 2 pt conversion to win. We watched the play and I looked up and Larry Seviers was in the room watching the replay with us. He was the guest speaker for the banquetI remember as a kid during the late'60s - early '70s, when the Ara Parseghian Show was piped into Knoxville Sunday morning TV under the auspices that it was hosted by Knoxville native Lindsey Nelson.

Don’t think I’ve seen anyone post this yet today. But….sheesh. Wish the Haslems cared as much about Tennessee as the top donors at other schools. This is an insane amount of money from one person.
Whatever. He’s been in first place atop the standings until a title game. They went 8-1 in 2020 while OU went 6-2. Beat OU during the regular season and then lost the title game. That’s huge for a place like Iowa State. Until the last 2 years, it was a conference with Texas and OU, two of the most successful programs in history of college football.
I’m sorry that conferences have 100+ teams in them now. With unbalanced schedules, it’s a mess. They tied in 2024.
He’s a solid coach.
