'26 TX WR Legend Bey (Tennessee)

I actually don't care one way or another... but it is entertaining and giving me something to follow.

People losing their marbles on a coin flip. He could be elite or he could be too small and be a bust or he could be a return specialist and that's all.

Just so many unknowns to worry about.

If he is a VOL, I hope he is elite. If he is a buckeye, I hope he is a bust.
It's a really good class irregardless of whether this guy is in it. The WR class is the best in a very long time.

I’ve moved to a never share anything posture, as there’s no real benefit in doing so in a volatile environment. I’ll just say the situation is not exactly as portrayed, it remains fluid, and he may or may not end up here based on the next few days of conversations. Many of us underestimate the bonds formed during recruiting between recruits and potential teammates and other recruits. He was not forced into anything, but he’s definitely feeling pressure from many angles, and is confused. He’s not Boo. Let it play out. If he wants to be at OSU, we aren’t going to hold him back, but that’s not a foregone conclusion. This will get resolved quickly. No one wants it to linger.

Staff thinks he’s elite. So does OSU’s. This would have died otherwise.

Honestly, with the portal now I really don’t care. I Just don’t know why this is big news. If he stays, great. If he leaves it gives us an extra spot from the portal. I don’t see him contributing next year anyhow.
I think hes really immature how hes handled the situation, I know hes a 17 year old kid so its not surprising. Just hit the portal in Jan and move on. I dont know why there needs to be all this drama. People calling it a sad situation is hilarious. He has a spot on a college football team, make big money, getting a free education, and can transfer where ever he wants without having to sit out a year. No one is a victim

Totally get that. But both staff's miss all the time. It just isn't a sure thing.

So the overraction to him flipping or losing out on him is really just an overreaction to a perceived expectation that he might or might not live up to

Bey is the smoking hot girl with neck tat that dropped out of beauty school and hates her dad. When you’re 21 it’s hard to ignore that. We aren’t 21. Send the lad on his way.

Exactly, OSU fans are acting like his life is being ruined. It’s ridiculous

The unfortunate thing is when this all turns out to be fake (which it is), there won’t be one single poster in here who’s saying “shred letter, too much drama, kick rocks, etc” that realizes maybe they shouldn’t believe every internet rumor
Right. He's in the boat. You keep him until you can't. Or you at least do everything you can to convince him he made the right decision😂

Probably wisest. And "volatile" is an understatement.
