Heup can't help but have another Nico/Boo type even in the recruiting class. Still the same $#!+. This is the kind of stuff that urgently needs to be fixed and it seems like Heup can't learn a lesson after already being burned twice.

Good pr for TN to let your fans get all excited and then yank that away from them. TN is all drama all the time.

On athlete Legend Bey

“That’s right. He finally got right with God and God told him to come to Tennessee. But no, just Coach Pope, our offensive staff, everybody involved did a great job of continuing to stay consistent in our communication with him and continuing to try to show him the vision of why this could be and should be the right spot for him. And ultimately Tennessee wins out. And he’s a dynamic playmaker. Really excited to have that tool. And I say that tool because he’s got the ability to do so many unique things on the field.”

Who knows what's true here but if we were too desperate to flip this kid instead of build a relationship with this kid, we may have gotten played by this family to get a "free signing day bag."

He can blame Mom, Mom can blame him, they can "kiss and make up, blood is thicker than water" in a month, and he's at Ohio State with a free bag from UT.

I'm too cynical for my own good.

He won't stay here, if he ever plays here. It's clear he wanted to go to tOSU. I read he was wearing tOSU gear when he signed with UT.

Let's avoid another Nico / Boo type situation. If he balls out in camp, great. But I don't see him here past Year 1.

He don't want to play for UT.

IF this is true...IF....then it was stupid for him to sign yesterday on EARLY signing day. He turns 18 in 3weeks and could have just waited until then and signed with OSU without his moms consent.

Ohio St lost their Offensive Coordinator/WRs coach Hartline to be the head coach at USF. So Beys primary recruiter AND position coach from OSU is gone. I have trouble believing he would still want to go there rather than UT. Coach Pope has kept a good relationship with him for a long time now. Guess we will see how this all plays out...

It would be great IF the idiot 5% of our fanbase that always wants to fire everybody and judge our players before the facts are even known would just do us all a favor and shut up until we actually have some solid information about this situation... I doubt that happens though.

This guy talks too fast for my taste but he says Legend Bey indicated to a teammate he was STILL all in on Ohio State even after Brian Hartline left.

CLEARLY…a Vol fan with a good understanding of our program DOES NOT want this type of thing in our locker room. Even now…if he changes his mind and stays (which has probably sailed already)…the damage has been done. I think JH will do what’s best and release him. Can you even imagine if this type thing happened to Coach Barnes? 😂😂 Bey would not have to worry about playing at UT!
