He’s saying that if banks is retained, it will likely cost Heupel his job.

IMO banks is an average DC and needs to git

If we win the bowl game, Heupel will have won at least 9 games every year but his first. He’s also exceeded 9 wins twice, which hadn’t been done at TN even once since 2007.

He walked into this job and immediately was handed a large NCAA cloud over his program. He made no excuses and went to work and got us right back into the mix of the college football world. After the years we spent on the outside looking in we should be grateful for him.

I’ve been very negative since the Vandy game. But this is the exact response we needed out of Heupel today and we shouldn’t even be surprised tbh.

Okay. We also play at least one more game now than we did back in Major's tenure (even more than that possible with SEC championship and CFP games).
