You cannot establish a winning tradition based on outspending your competitors year-after-year.

AGREE - you are not going to build a TRUE dynasty by outspending your competition year in and year out...if I recall, Dallas spends more per year than any other NFL team every year, but when's the last time they won a playoff game, let alone made a Super Bowl.
Yes, I know, look at what Oh St is doing - and yes, they are the likely to repeat as NC this year - but everyone else is going to catch up sooner rather than later...look at Indiana, they are already there in year 2.

I wasn't one wanting Kiffin back, but I"m not sure if he had come back, he would bail again. He always has said he wouldn't have left TN if I hadn't been USC job. ( his dream job). He's always talked favorably about TN and I've heard him say he regrets leaving TN. If you recall, all season long, Kiffin complained about the Ole miss crowds, and he felt they ;didn't support the team enough.
