They all matter, at least the ones vs SEC teams. Other than that, he missed ONE, game-on-the-line kick this year, the one vs UGA. Then he came back and hit one in OT. I guess that one doesn’t matter. Not the ones that matter. And those are the ones that matter. I don’t want my kickers looking like they are scared sh**less every time they come to kick in pressure situations. We need killers.
Literally cost us the UGA game and cost us for kicking an easy kick against OU as well. Made us go for a TD. Your kicker has one job and it’s his time to shine when games are on the line. That’s why you have them. And he failed every time the game was on the line. I don’t care that you can kick easy field goals and extra points. I want a kicker who isn’t scared to win a game. Your narrative makes no sense. “I’m glad his percentage is great and he makes easy kicks, I don’t care that he cost us games in critical moments.”They all matter, at least the ones vs SEC teams. Other than that, he missed ONE, game-on-the-line kick this year, the one vs UGA. Then he came back and hit one in OT. I guess that one doesn’t matter.
He missed one early vs OK, but hit a much bigger one late in the game that gave us a chance to pull it out.
These narratives make no sense.
