'26 TX ATH Legend Bey

Sad that some of these parents won’t let their kids make their own decisions.

Would love Bey in Knoxville but not if he’s being held hostage by his own family.
Thought it was the other way around. Kid flipped and wanted to go to Ohio St but some folks in his circle wants him to come to UT.

But they play nobody. Most of the nation only watched them play Texas and Michigan. As a kid do you really only want one or two showcases a year? If you're scared of competition I guess its the ideal spot. But I would personally want to be playing on prime time in the game of the day more often. Which is why it would be only SEC schools for me.
If you look at their schedule this year, they played several programs that have had really good teams in recent history (Texas, Washington, Penn St, Michigan). Wisconsin's hire of Fickell didn't work out but they had been a competitive program for years before that. Strength of schedule ebbs and flows.

I didn't think that Tennessee had a particularly tough schedule last year at all. Our P4 OOC opponent (NC State) went 6-6, OU wasn't good, Alabama was good but not great, UF wasn't good.

Read his post again slowly.
