The way this guy put it was because of this Tennessee football got more NIL committed. I don't know if that's true or not. We already have a lot committed. I don't even know that Heupel flirted with leaving Tennessee at all. He gets everything he asks for.

The truth was we already had a competitive advantage over Alabama in that department. Might be a Bama writer looking into the future and ready-making excuses.

I get that they have speculated. Every interview I have ever seen with RG when he talks about the university is how thankful he is for UT. I’ll believe it when I see it.

It's been a good option for him, close to home, good situation. But he knows Golesh, and home would be a better option for his remaining years coaching. It just makes sense, and it was always said depending on who got the Auburn job, if Garner would be an option for them....... It just makes sense.

Noticed he took his son with him to LSU, wonder if he too passes on his HS championship game? I think they are in it. His locals might still welcome him, but not sure how the MS masses would treat the Kiffin name in a stadium with multiple games.

Like to think I would not punish a kid for the sins of his father, even one I revile like I do him. Don’t think I would boo him, but might not cheer for him. I could celebrate a catch regardless of who threw it. Has to be weighing on his teammates.
