I don't. When I hear juco, I think not so bright and/or lazy and undisciplined in the classroom. If a kid is that way in one area of his life, he likely will be that way in a football program.Kind of wish we still grabbed this guy but maybe post Jamal Wallace we are done with JUCO bigs
Idk personally I like JUCO
I can understand questioning the number of players they take via portal, but I can't understand questioning their portal evals. If, and it's a big if, this staff is spot on with their evals. My expectations are low in this area.
You have any clue the names on UT all time great players started in juco? Mims. Kamara. Dale Carter. Chuck Smith. Charlie Garner. LL. CP..I don't. You see the possibility of him being committed? Don’t know where they send them now!!!!!!This dude is the most negative of all negative posters in RF. It’s his thing. No one is that negative all the time without being committed. A fan maybe but either way he’s trolling. Look at the title under his name.
I always like getting guys from JUCO who could step and contribute immediately - especially on the line of scrimmage. But with portal nowadays we can pick up experienced players from other schools. Hate to see JUCOs being left out because that was always a great opportunity for guys who weren’t quite ready academically for college…we’ve had some great ones over the years…Byron Young comes to mind…Kind of wish we still grabbed this guy but maybe post Jamal Wallace we are done with JUCO bigs
