That’s your front 7. Gibson, Redmond, Farooq, Poteat and Walton in the secondary, need some big portal additions there. Maybe McCoy or Hood come back after their draft grades, who knows.

Hope that DLine is heavy enough to hold their own in the trenches. I question that.

You list 3 LB rotations but we run 2 more often. I don’t know how it shakes out if we play more 3 LB sets or a couple of those guys fade and transfer out or become special teamers. But I am hoping with refortified dline and db groups we can take some pressure off the middle of the defense and they become a strength instead of a weakness. Expecting to see the following featured more than the rest next year: AC (assuming he doesn’t go pro), Spillman, Telander, Perlotte, and some Harmon. Maybe the freshman Rouse too.

My opinion is that Auburn doesn't have the money to hire a better staff than Tennessee. Pretty good material evidence on which to base it.

I would assume we’re on a relatively even playing field but who knows. They haven’t had a coach worth investing in in some time.

3-1 on the road this year. Wasn’t a big issue this season. Other issues sure, but not road games.

We aren't going to run any more traditional 3 lb sets than we do. We're just getting insanely deep and talented at linebacker. Good coaching. Really valuable position on defense so we invest there.

Make use of what you got. A good coach maximizes the talent he has and can adjust his system to it. Or they become butch jones.
