I'm not sure what you mean by that. Vandy played way better defensively vs Mizzu. We didn't have a single TO all game. Vandy got the stops they needed to in the 2nd half. Props to them for that. But we moved the ball on them all game. If Matthews catches that TD pass to start the 4th Q, who knows happens. But afte that, we were playing catch up and Vandy had all the momentum.
A long winded way to say they beat our ass like a red headed step child

I actually just looked this up, and Alex Golesh was announced at USF as an accomplished play-caller. That doesn't make it true, it's just something I noticed after looking.
Here is what we know for sure: Alex Golesh had never been anything more than TE/ RB coach. He came to UCF under the title co-oc at UCF in Heups last year at UCF. Heup is on record saying many times that he called his own plays at UCF.

I doubt that he gave up play calling to someone who had never called plays at the biggest job of Heup’s life. He does allow Golesh to receive credit to move up. He takes care of his guys. It is also why he replaced Golesh with a guy that had been nothing more than a qb coach for 3 years. Halzle isn’t calling the plays either.

We had 21 points and 240 yards at half time. They held us to 382 yards because they controlled the entire 3rd quarter. We had one 3 and out and didn't get the ball back until 2 min left in the 3rd. All the 4th Q drives were long drives but only yielded 3 points thanks to Matthews drop. Vandy scored quick after that and it made us 1 dimensional the rest of the 4th Quarter. But we still moved the ball even with being 1 dimensional.
142 yards in a half and is moving the ball and scoring three in a half is good. Got it

I don't think that makes much difference today. A coach is canned, a kid can just hit the portal. What's more important is that coaches replacement.
I think it does. If they are borderline, they will flip if a coach is fired. If they sign and you fire them, they usually will wait to see the new hire before bolting.

Here's what I think you miss: people in a position to report much of this stuff didn't. The people who sent it to them did so expecting something to be done about it and nothing was until he left. So blame all those guys, completely fair. But only a few of these women are just now making these claims.
That's exactly the issue I'm addressing.

Tbf, these people literally have the receipts. Its not a blind accusation if this info was sent a year ago.

We essentially had 1 possession in the 3rd Quarter because our defense couldn't get a stop. In the other 3 possessions we had 68, 25, and 45. So yes, we moved the ball. If we didn't have to play 10+ points down, maybe we wouldn't have been so 1 dimensional.

Was it the best offensive game we've had all season? Certainly not. But the offense wasn't the issue. The defense lying down and letting Vandy run/throw all over us is why we lost that game. Vandy scored on every possession after that 2nd quarter punt (aside from the kneel down). And only one of those did we hold them to a FG.

Yeah, and these rumors didn't just pop up at Ole Miss either. I saw a blue check Alabama account on Twitter suggesting things had happened at Alabama too.

I think he’s the most underrated coach in the country but I always thought he’d be a BYU lifer
The salary angle of it could be key here. What BYU pays him isn't public but it is thought to be really low, like $3m/year. PSU would/could go 2.5 or 3x that.

The salary difference is kind of like what it was between mid-tier jobs and top-tier jobs 10 or 15 years ago, not like today where Indiana can pay a coach basically the same amount a blue blood program could.

Here is what I think happened BRUCE: I think Golesh called plays every time we looked good and it was Josh Heupel when we looked bad. I also think that last year it was clearly all Josh Heupel and this year it was Joey Halzle until the last two games when Josh got jealous everyone thought it was Joey and yanked them back. I also think Joey should be fired and that no one else in the SEC would even want him as an OC. I'm a little insane, Bruce. Sort of like you. I know where the bodies are, Bruce.
Who the hell is Bruce

Can anyone confirm this?

First I’ve heard this from someone…

Coach ET has been our primary coach at corner. Is viewed very highly.
He’s been highly regarded since the 80s. Some concern about him eventually going home, though.

Interestingly, I was told he has an affinity for bite-sized peanut butter candies. Not sure what that’s about…
