I was gonna ask the entire forum what their move is now that Zenith is off the board. It actually gives me a little pause on where things are w/ our coach.

We had two 3 and outs. First drive of game and one more.

We did also have a 5 play drive and 6 play drive that ended in punts.

We had 21 points and 240 yards at half time. They held us to 382 yards because they controlled the entire 3rd quarter. We had one 3 and out and didn't get the ball back until 2 min left in the 3rd. All the 4th Q drives were long drives but only yielded 3 points thanks to Matthews drop. Vandy scored quick after that and it made us 1 dimensional the rest of the 4th Quarter. But we still moved the ball even with being 1 dimensional.

Looking at Bob Chesney's coaching bio, it doesn't look like he's had any experience with a P4 program (playing or coaching career). I don't know much about him to have a strong opinion, but it would seem like a bit of a risk type of hire. Despite no P4 experience, what he's been able to continue at JMU after Cignetti is impressive.

I don't think that makes much difference today. A coach is canned, a kid can just hit the portal. What's more important is that coaches replacement.

From a "fun to watch" I'd be cool seeing these matchups.

Ole Miss at Oregon
BYU at A&M
ND at North Texas

Overstating achievements a little there.
First time ever playoffs. They’ve only been playoffs a few years

And #1? Where’d we finish? Good I know but it wasn’t no #1 .

But going from 4-8 to nearly the final 4 makes my point. What Dooley and Butch did is ancient history and zero to do with Heupel, Pruitt , some obstacles to overcome but 10-2 in year 2 just proves it can be done.
what happened in year 4-5 is on Heupel. Whether it’s Good or Bad.

Fixed it for you (see above for corrections)

If the lack of transparency by not punishing the crew and Kirby for his timeout Lie isn’t proof, then you can’t be convinced. Kirby should have been fined 100k.
