He has never been an elite coach. He was carried in the beginning by Cowhers players and then had a HOF carrying him to be a decent team. He hasn’t won a playoff game since 2016. Most coaches would have been fired by now. He is a great motivator and players coach. He makes horrible hires and is below average schematically.

I honestly don’t know why anyone would play for the guy. He’s absolutely the biggest piece of in a profession known for people of marginal integrity. He absolutely oozes slimy. There should be a concern, if he does. I very much doubt he remains static and doesn't improve for next year, which means his pretty decent sophomore season becomes an excellent junior season. There isn't much of anything out there for which you can count on 750 yards receiving to replace him. This is a solid group of young WRs. I hope we keep all of them.

Again I hope he doesn’t leave. But if there’s one more penny asked for then it is what it is. As far as not being able to replace 750, we have 3 freshman who will be the same age he is next year. And yes I will gladly admit that his drops situation is amplified by the money. It’s the first thing i think about when the ball hits the turf. Hope he stays. Won’t give it a second thought if he doesn’t.

Several blue check Vol Twitter accounts posted about Heupel to PSU today which was never even a remote possibility. It got the fan base discussing it even though, again, not a remote possibility. You gotta wonder why they were doing that. Why were there so many different ones pushing the exact same narrative? I don't know the answer but I know it's not organic.

He would have a couple hundred more if he didn’t drop some very catchable balls.
He needs to work the jugs machine hard and be the best he can be
