They say insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, expecting different results. I get your point.

What you don't get is that this is a totally different admin than the one that presided over the post-Fulmer disaster(s). Including Fulmer himself.

Go back and watch the 2nd half of the Vandy game again. Try to convince yourself that this staff has the team on the right track to compete for conference and national championships. After 5 years.

Don't waste your time trying to change my mind. I know what I saw.

I'm also wrong a lot, so you can just wait me out and remind me of this in a couple of years...

If they fire Heupel it us just extremely stupid. If they had they 12 team playoff his whole 5 years here they would have already been twice. And still people complain and moan. That ended up getting us Pruitt last time. Get a new Defensive coordinator but not a new head coach.

He would be an amazing coach if our goal was to be the worst in the SEC. If he can't win in his garbage conference how do you expect him to do better here? His best year (this year) is one win better than Heupel this year (who yall want fired over it). He can't recruit, his teams are mid in arguably the worst Power 4 conference. Think before you post. He is playing with Georgia Tech whom he accomplished a dub against Georgia with. Something Tennessee has yet to accomplish, and something Elmo’s best Duke team would never have accomplished. Elko seems to be doing fine at A&M. Is he my first choice? No, but it Huepel left, I’d give him a serious look considering what else is out there. He’ll, my first choice was Kiffin when we hired Huepel, but everyone scoffed at that notion as well.

Then let's fire CJH, and do it all over again in 3 years, then 3 years after that.

Tennessee is 45-19 (11th nationally) since CJH took over. When was the last time UT has had a better record over a 5 year period?

According to my post that caused your BVS to flare up, we won't have to worry about this for two more years. By then maybe it's not an issue.

It's not BVS, I'm not the one overreacting and wanting the current coach to be let go.

I'll ask again, when was the last time that UT was 45-19 or better over a 5 year period? I can attach a list of season records if you'd like?

Kiffin suggestion is worth scoffing at. Because if we hired Kiffin (who has done nothing Heupel hasn’t) then we would currently be getting left for LSU and embarrassed by him, yet again, on a national stage.

Break those wins down against SEC and Top 10/25 opponents and then wave it in my face.

If you're okay with mediocre, there are lots of teams that meet your criteria. Why limit yourself to just one?

And actually you are overreacting. Where did I say I wanted Heupel to be let go? We're talking now, right? I think my timeline was he gets two more years.

Wrong. Kiffin has a better record than Huepel and has gone 11-1 in a stronger conference. Tennessee is a stronger brand than Ole Miss. He would not leave twice.
