Mississippi state and terrible program.

Looks like scores banks gives up.

Funny how you leave out the defensive ranks for his Penn state and Vandy teams. And pick ONE year to look at.

Let’s looks at Tim banks five years here and his defensive rankings. I would bet shoop fielded better defenses overall.

I hear ya and agree with ya that I want championships but I believe historically we are a 8-9 win program on avg. We (UT) have never seemed focused on finding a coach that can get us to elite on the regular. It’s always hoping we strike gold with a bargain hire and we are super shocked when he’s not the long term answer.

So if you were Lame what would you have done. He hasn’t made this a media circus everyone else has.

I don’t go back to the Lame to UT days so maybe I look at it a little different than others And don’t have the built in hate.

One the one hand, he has a team he loves, a home and family life he now loves and the other is he has a school offering him 100m plus a game changing amount to build a CFP contender with and they both want an answer ASAP.

He is really in a no win situation. Sure he wants to have both, any of us would. Those claiming they could easily say no to what LSU is rumored to be offering is being disingenuous.

Bc I said his career fell off a cliff during / after his time at UT. Not before. Don’t care about the years before. Everyone knows why he was hired and thought he was gonna be good.

Then he wasn’t. And wasn’t after UT either.

What we did over a 100 years has no bearing on what we can be now. We have a top AD now and he wants championships. And he spends for teams to be good, it’s up to the coaches to win with his resources. If you aren’t winning with Danny as AD, you aren’t doing your job as he gives them everything they want.
