One thing is apparent. Coach Heupel has built some serious good will among Vol fans. Hope he can capitalize on it.

No chance we will force Joey to sit out possibly his last football game ever…it’d have to be his decisionI wonder if Joey plays or if we give GMAC the bowl practices and the full game. Joey earned it, but I think its better to use the bowl practices and game to provide opportunities before determining port hole needs
You can’t spend the way we have and go 8-4 while beating zero good teams. And get blown out by Bama and Vandy. Any big program will have some coaches getting fired. Because it is unacceptable.Very unpopular thought, that I dont even like.
Do you keep Banks, replace assistants, then go gonzo in the porthole?
Family issues. Year after he left UT, he fielded a top defense at Mississippi state. Number one in the nation. Had family issues and decided to step back. He was at USF and runs a defense you would want to run with our systems. And if you haven’t noticed, their defense is coached light years better than ours and it is very aggressive. He fielded great defenses at Penn state and Vandy under Franklin.Must be why his career fell off a cliff after UT.
Maybe the game just passed him by.
the chomping, the halfassed answers and the lackadaisical personality spoke volumes to me. this was not the postgame that he should have had and the attitude made me shake my head.Just watched the post game. What was with the gum chomping like a middle school coach? Sounded like a cow chomping cud.
They played a much harder schedule. Our schedule was pretty easy for SEC standards. We beat a bunch of garbage teams and lost to any team worth anything. I know you like to argue, but getting blown out at home by Vandy deserves some coaches to be fired.OU went 6-7. Easy to look at that and say let’s change all the things.
Our *bad* year is currently 8-4.
