I will say, one BIG complaint I have had with Heupel. Is playing older players that are less talented than the guys they recruit.

This year his hand was forced a bit, with the team being so young. But man with how easy it is for players to leave ya have to just treat it like every day is a competition to play. Landing a 5 star that sits on the bench then transfers helps you how?

Barnes gets it, that team knows if they aren’t putting in the work he’ll sit them on the bench.

I think he’s proven as much as Kiffin who is apparently the prettiest chick at the ball. He’s proven he’s an elite offensive coach and a really good head coach. Not great or elite but very good. Could achieve elite.

Kiffin gives you a ton of hype in the press. I would change your analogy to say that Lane is the chick that puts out at the ball.

I don't disagree, but I don't think Kiffin has really done that much. I'll admit, I have high expectations. Yes, we made the playoffs last season, and maybe it was facing the buzzsaw of OSU right off the bat, but it just didn't feel like we accomplished much. We haven't even sniffed an SEC Championship. And this year was such a step back. Honestly, this game has me depressed and questioning everything about our program.

I also think we(myself included) need to realize there is only one Kirby and one ryan day right now

Those guys are great coaches and have great staffs and players and honestly everyone is chasing them

Even dabo has dropped done a ring on the ladder

Kirby/day. Top of the heap

Got a couple guys a step below probably 2-4 guys

Then a huge group of guys probably which includes CJH and about 25 others

Then the rest are a few steps below looking up

We’re fortunate but we gotta keep getting better and stop worrying about players and coaches feelings to join the Kirby/ day group

Those 2 dont seem to give a **** about anything except winning and that’s what has separated them

Same. Losing to Vandy sucks. And it gets coaches fired. I’m not by any means calling for him to be fired and I think he probably gets to 27 unless the wheels totally fall off.

Pretty much every loss had reasons to stay optimistic.

Georgia, we were a kick away.

Bama, a bad play call and worse throw completely changed the game. Plus just a poor game from Joey.

Oklahoma, again poor QB play and poor kicking. But we were in it.

This game just felt off. Poor clock management at the end of the half. Could’ve saved enough time to try and get points. Star Thomas only getting one carry. Hate the term out coaches but Lea certainly seemed to have his team executing better. Hard to find anything positive in this one.

You know what, **** it. This place sucks. @Freak you let the inmates run the asylum for too long and now anything other than "WE SUCK, HEUPEL SUCKS, BANKS SUCKS" is met with hostility. I may have clapped back at a few of you but I only did it when I was insulted first. Most of you guys are cool @Go Fight Win @SoilVol @Orange. etc , but too many of the FF guys who wander over here are miserable old dudes who act like winning a championship is the only way you'll ever be happy. I come here because I want to talk football, but what you get is a bunch of undiagnosed, ungrateful drunks who get excited when we lose so that they can continue to relish in the shared misery that makes you feel like you're part of something. I've got people in my life that need me, so I can't continue with this BS anymore. I hope it clicks for you guys someday. When we're back to 5-7, 6-6 every year because we ran off the guy who pulled us out of the ashes, I hope you'll be able to appreciate what we had. Later guys. Enjoy your outbursts over the coaches not signing your "must have" portal players.

Normally after a loss I can marinate for a day or two and then find the silver linings and proper perspective. There is not one iota of positivity to take away from this game.
