I love the flight of the War Eagle!!! Probably the only the about Auburn I love, but that’s pretty cool! Go War Eagle!!!
That is cool to watch. I don't think I've ever seen a golden eagle in the wild (most of the Southeast is outside of their usual range). I do see bald eagles, ospreys, and various hawk species on a regular basis, however.I love the flight of the War Eagle!!! Probably the only the about Auburn I love, but that’s pretty cool! Oh yeah, Auburn the college town is cool! I spent some time there as well when I was younger. I was just referring to the team as a whole, but yeah I had a few good times there also. I too remember college fondly, don’t think I could or would want to keep up nowadays, but it was fun at the time! Its a nice little town and not a bad party spot honestly. I'll never forget my freshman year at Tech being a pledge and us going down for some party or another at the house there.
For some reason I recall that the theme was "Native American" night.
My overwhelming memory of the night was a beautiful young lady in a torn miniskirt who kept playfully pushing me down and doing some Indian War Cry all night lol
That was like 6 weeks into my college experience and I was sooo happy. I thought life just didn't get any better than that lol
Some really good times in Athens and Chattanooga as well. Mr Belding from Saved By tbe Bell apparently was in the fraternity chapter there and we had some convuluted plan to steal the composite photo as a joke
I really miss college sometimes ha ha

My experience in college was starting at around the turn of the century, but I do remember the 90’s very well. I loved the 90’s, I was growing up and things were awesome looking back, of course I was one of those little shites that didn’t always appreciate things when I should have, but I learned to before it was over.Yup. Life was simpler in the 90s. Especially when it came to being on a college campus. Like a cocoon of some sort.
I'm not so sure I would be as adventurous these days either. Which sucks because those adventures have in many ways shaped my life lol
I've only been to Auburn once (I was there for a conference almost 20 years ago). I thought the campus was pretty nice, however, I didn't really see much of the town. I'm sure the town has changed quite a bit since I was there. Its a nice little town and not a bad party spot honestly. Yeah, I was hoping this might be one of those surprisingly competitive iterations of this rivalry game. Unfortunately, Auburn can't do anything. I know potentially winning an SEC championship is nice, but UGA probably would be better off not playing the extra game and getting the extra rest.Goodness, I was hoping in vain that this might be a game! It’s not, it’s an execution! Oh well, maybe my Dawgs can beat the trend next week, but I’m certainly not holding my breath!
NCAA football is all about watching teams give up as they lose anything to play for. All the teams who are out of the playoff hunt look like they have nothing left to live for. The month of November has usually been the lousiest month for the sport, but it seems especially lackluster since the playoff era removed all meaning for poll rankings and bowl games.
The only two decent games I remember from this weekend were Georgia’s and Texas’s. I presume that’s because all 4 teams were still able to make the playoffs.Goodness, I was hoping in vain that this might be a game! It’s not, it’s an execution! You mean other than how #20 can win the Big 12 and compete for the national championship while #19 has nothing left to play for because the SEC has 6 other teams ahead?Apparently you haven’t been paying attention if you think this November has been quiet.
Poll rankings means exactly what they did before. How was being #20 now any different than being #20 15 years ago?

Aside from those two, this looks like week 17 of the NFL season. Kids know they made all they’re getting paid and treated rivalry week like a retirement party for the seniors.
