Oof. 3 definites, 3 50/50s, and 1 depends on how good Lea really is without Pavia.

Lea had Pavia last year and they went 7-6.

It’s ok to admit they’re having an outlier year and aren’t some long term juggernaut all the sudden.

8-4 sucks and its what i thought we would do going into this year. It just sucks worst because it doesnt look like what I thought it would.

Silver lining, I think we could shift up maybe 4 things and keep the rest constant and it we will be contenders. Give me a top 5 QB in the confence, a expiernce safety, 2 difference makers at DT and we are ready.

Same with King @ GT. I like both Lea and Key but I’m not sure what they are without their current QBs.

If I were Heupel, I would see how much it would take to get Jerry Kill here.

The changes Heupel makes to his coaching roster will tell me a lot for next season. I’ll give it a C+ coaching grade this season.

D+, and I’m being generous. The best team we beat all season was Kentucky. Let that sink in and marinate for a while.

He's got a very good system. His teams are very well coached in all phases. He does really well in the portal. He's attracting better and better players, looks to be getting a 5 star qb. Are we going to be significantly better next year? Obviously it will depend on the portal. If I were betting I'd say they've got a very decent shot at beating us next year, especially if Banks is still calling the defense.

It's not just the changes to staff. They are losing basically every key player on a defense that was awful. NIL and the portal have changed things. People can save their excuses.

I could be wrong, but I think Vandy is going to feel silly for giving Lea a substantial raise when they see the product on the field going forward after this season. My prediction is that Pavia will prove to be to Lea what Burrow was to Ed O.

Yea, and then rebounded this year and went 10-2. My point exactly. Unless Joey can come back, we have no QB in the system or experienced enough to make it through an SEC gauntlet.

Oh I’m more than aware. I am sure some will come out and talk about our 15-yr wandering in the desert or how 8-9 wins is awesome now. But there are huge consistent flaws and they reared their ugly head this whole season.

We went 10-2 last year with Nico @ QB.

I get it’s hard to think about based on what we just witnessed but literally any outcome is possible for next year. Including winning a sh*t ton of games.
