Um…no one is worshipping him or saying he can do no wrong. People are excited about him and very hopeful that Tennessee will land him because he’s an outstanding football player. He’s fumbled against McCallie in their first game during a critical junction of that game. Luckily it was recovered by Baylor. 2nd game he left no doubt.
He fumbled 2 weeks ago too.
It’s correctable but you all act like he can do no wrong. He’s just a damn kid. STOP WORSHIPING him….
The reason it KEEPS BEING SAID IS BECAUSE OF PEOPLE LIKE YOU criticizing a very real situation.
So what he’s in HS. Not every RB has his issue. Most don’t have his skills either! That doesn’t mean it’s not a problem!!
He’s not better than any of our RB’s right now. What’s absurd is to think he’s not better than any of our current RB’s were in their junior year of high school and there’s a few in this thread who think he’s just a really good TSSAA running back. He may be the best back in the country. For the first time this year Kimrey turned him loose. McCallie fans were passing around a cartoon of David on social media. David saw it and was upset by content of the cartoon. I saw it too. It was pretty bad. So instead of making sure all of his D1 recruits got some plays on film Kimrey just gave the ball to David. And he showed McCallie that he can’t be hog tied. Let’s see what he does next week against Brentwood Academy. I bet they don’t come up with some cute cartoon of David to pass around.Yes it is absurd. If you think he would be better than any of our RBs then you need help.
Ok now what you are saying here is very different. I definitely agree that he is much better at this stage in his HS career then our current RBs were. He’s not better than any of our RB’s right now.
